He understood his ineptness to deal with his sin.
He was aware of his sin.
He understood the magnitude of his sin.
He desired to be separated from his sin.
He understood the total depravity of his sin.
He requests and anticipates redemption. 6-9
His redemption will be an inward transformation.
His request for cleansing anticipates its accomplishment.
His request anticipates joy.
His request anticipates separation from sin.
He requests and anticipates revival/renewal/restoration. 10-13
He requests God to do six things.
He commits to do one thing.
